- Comment: The Senate should consider looking for people to be chairman before their first meeting.
- Sen. Barnett: At the previous meeting it was decided not to look for a chairman before the first meeting of the new school year since often we do not know who the new senators will be until that first meeting.
- Question: Can the senate talk to the new chancellor about creating a parking garage?

- The Provost will be at the next meeting to discuss strategic planning
